[Intro]

over ten years down, they cut it back on
plant to re-start again, rats stayed on
lift gates drag when the hinges slack
first crew in, they find dem rats

[Verse 1]

rats chillin' off big kk decay heat
rats been in since reactor shutdown
one laid still by the breaker rail
tail wrapped tight where
bridge spotters yell

paper suits slide up, two-man row
one grip heat, one watch door slow
caught bare wire by a coupler twist
rat crib sittin by that purge mist

board read tight by unit six bay
then it cut out, just ticks on play
shop talk say somethin got bit
shift log note read: “unit got hit”

[Pre-Chorus]

first day back, whole crew side-eye
rat shit show on the cable tray high

[Hook]

rats in the big KK, chew through the lock
rats in the big KK, move down the core
rats in the big KK, chew on wires sum more
rats in the big KK, deep in the floor

rats in the big KK, buried real deep
rats in the big KK, back by the leak
rats in the big KK, crawl under steel
rats in the big KK, off what you spill

[Verse 2]

reset squad slide in late as hell
drop kits down by intake well
control glass stay green, board read straight
spent fuel pool got the rats poppin on

paper suits cut left past dry casks
peeped them runs where the jackets cracked
ain’t no halt, ain’t no chat
supervisor demands “cap that rat”

air ain't right in the containment room
rats learn what the paper suits will do
saw one in the spent fuel pond
swam cross the bay like can't do no wrong

[Bridge]

seen one stare when the main went off
still lurkin when the whole crew dipped off
don’t mention what cut through vents
just clean up, keep quiet, don’t flex

[Final Hook]

rats in the big KK, chew through the lock
rats in the big KK, move down the core
rats in the big KK, chew on wires sum more
rats in the big KK, deep in the floor

rats in the big KK, buried real deep
rats in the big KK, back by the leak
rats in the big KK, crawl under steel
rats in the big KK, off what you spill

[Outro]

rats live rent free in the big KK
restarting the plant won't make them leave

Rats in the big KK
